it can fool the computer by adjusting the sensor readings.....the vtec point, a/f ratio, throttle level will be changed.

Surely it will help to improve the performance, but I will not consider it at early stage mod.

I think the weakest part of Stepwgn is handling, I prefer to put money on suspension and under bar first.
