Today driving back to office...  (cuz not everyday and need to find some excuse)

today agenda...

1. drive daugther to sch.. (although 3 minutes only, just for fun)
2. go to Kwun Tong to pick up the repaired computer from 漢科.3. back to office (Kornhill, saw a cool white ... MUGEN - RG3)

我上次NAS出左問題, load唔到問漢科有冇方法救到裡面file, 佢話用linux去囉資料, 咁我咪試左都唔得, 咁叫左人囉NAS出去整......之後漢科有人打電話, 佢地話都救唔到......但harddisk冇問題,即係nas個software出事啦....成件NAS炒晒......佢地都唔同我講點樣試......浪費左$500 check機費

自己機我一定唔會信代理識救data law......如果唔係出面真係呢行既收幾千蚊做乜....

BTW...有冇試過用EasyRecovery? 我次次都救到... ...

行Raid的話一般就冇咁易囉番出黎,行Raid0,1就容易搞好多, 反而raid 5真係好失敗, 萬一有問題file囉唔番.....所以之後玩埋raid 6
我上次用fedora 12 諗住行raid囉番裡面file, 囉極都唔得.....我諗緊果班C兄有冇試過依個方法真係成功

I think if you are running RAID 5 but RAID config file are corrupted/loss, it is difficult to recover the data....  It is not due to NAS or not.  So I usually backup the RAID config after the RAID b ...

Yes, you are right.  Software RAID is more easy to handle than hardware RAID.

no la... just simple standard configuration... no over clock.
The problem is that I bought RAM two times (each with 4G) but they are not in same batch thus 唔夾firmware...sth. like that.

so poor NA ...
