ハイブリッドと小排気量ターボの2本立て

ジェイドのコンセプトカーを見る限り、海外マーケットを見据え全幅は1700mmを越えるが、スレンダーなシルエットやシャープなクォーターウインドウなどは次期ストリームといわれても違和感がないだろう。日本向けの名称は未定だが、ストリームを踏襲する可能性が高い。

中国ではこの秋に発売されるジェイドだが、日本では約1年遅れて2014年7月発売となる線が濃厚だ。実は現在、ホンダはパワートレインの刷新を計画中で、その一環に次期ストリームも組み込まれたようだ。

用意されるエンジンは2つ。ひとつは、次期フィットから実用化される新世代1.5Lエンジン＋モーターのハイブリッドだ。ホンダの新世代ユニットである2モーター式ハイブリッドではなく1モーター式となるが、ツインクラッチの7速DCTミッションを採用しダイレクト感のある走りがもたらされる。

もうひとつは、ハイブリッドと同じ1.5Lエンジンにターボチャージャーを装着したダウンサイジング過給ユニット。こちらは、ハイブリッドから少し遅れて2014年11月に発売される見込みだ。実はこのエンジンを積んだ次期ステップワゴンも同年晩秋に発売される予定となっている。

どうやらホンダはこのタイミングでダウンサイジング過給を一気に広める計画のようだ。この1.5Lターボはホンダの次世代ユニットの主軸であり、将来的には搭載車種を年間90万台も生産する見込みだ。

我估應該係1500cc 值四 + 電Motor, 姐係Hybrid system

Honda另一邊出 turbocharger on 1.5L engine. 兩條腿走路
