法拉利得了國際年度引擎大獎總冠軍（International Engine of the Year），獲此殊榮的是488 GTB和488 Spider所搭載的雙渦輪增壓V8引擎，在California T引擎的基礎上實現突破提升。同時，該引擎也榮膺最佳引擎性能（Performance Engine）、最佳新引擎（New Engine）以及最佳3-4升引擎三項類別大獎。同時間法拉利F12berlinetta和F12tdf配備的自然吸氣6.3升V12引擎，也將4升以上引擎大獎收入囊中。
