ホンダ「新型ステップワゴン」の最新情報です。
今回は、これ本当？という内容なんですが、バックドアが今までにない仕様になる！というもの。
ハッチバックでありながら、観音開きも可能な「わくわくゲート」というもののようですが・・・

さて、ここからが今回の本題です。そう、リアゲートについて。
どうも「わくわくゲート」と言われているようなのですが、ちょっとかわったバックドアを採用します。
わかりやすく説明するために、ハッチバックとダブルバックドアのあるルノー「カングー」を例にします。

その前に、まず、ステップワゴンのリアゲートはというと、、、

こちらは、上下に分割されていて、上部が上側に、下部が横側に開くものですが、
なんと、新型ステップワゴンの「わくわくゲート」は、
基本ハッチバックでありながら、一部だけが横側に開け閉めできるというもの。
以下の現行ステップワゴンスパーダでいうと、黒く塗りつぶした部分だけが横側にも開く構造。
